The Perfect Austin Day
Here is our suggestion if you had one free day in Austin!
Chill with Tacos & Coffee at Vera Cruz

Webberville is an unassuming street with some gems. Order a taco from Vera Cruz then grab a coffee from either DesNudo or Fleet coffee. Locals pour in and hang out in the morning with dogs and strollers.
Vera Cruz is unarguably the best tacos in town. DesNudo is new and sporting a long line. Fleet has been a favorite for years.
Walk Lady Bird Lake

The trail around Lady Bird Lake is 10 miles so great for a long trek, but if you are just going for a short walk and want a beautiful view, park along Lakeshore Drive, Parking spots are easy to find and walk towards downtown.
To spice it up, rent a kayak or paddle board and get on the water with all of the other locals. It is our favorite place to enjoy the fersh air!
Lunch at Josephine House

When you think of lunch, like a beautiful lunch, Josephine's is it. Lovely with an impeccable menu and the sweetest ambiance. If a lush lunch isn't in the cards for the day, I would grab a sandwich at Saigon Le Vendeur.

Barton Springs or South Congress

Spend a few hours at Austin's iconic natural pool. Temperature stays between 68-72 and is a favorite gathering place for Austinites.
If weather isn't permitting or you just love shopping, hit up South Congress, where the street is lined with shops, caffee shops, and restaurants.
Dinner & Music at Guerro's

Guero's Taco Bar, set on South Congress, is everything Austin. Tacos, patio, and music.
Enjoy handmade corn tortillas, salsa bar, and tacos al pastor are favorites. Start off with a hand-shaken margarita in the cantina, or enjoy an icy cold cerveza while listening to music in the Oak Garden.
Hang Out On Rainey Street

Rainey Street began as bars and music venues on a quiet street of picturesque bungalows. The quirky, street has morphed into a wildly fun street with a variety of restaurants, a plethora of bars, and plenty of music.
Whether you are in the middle of the fun or just people watching and listening to music from the street, Rainey Street is always a lively option.
